In fourth grade, I remember writing fantastical stories in a small, torn-up notebook while my other classmates talked amongst each other. I wrote of ghosts, witches, and wizards, of kids like myself, experiencing things that could only exist in an alternative reality. My imagination was vibrant, and I often found myself lost in the world I built in my mind. When the evening rolled in, I’d perform songs I wrote for my mother in our living room. The songs were mostly gibberish, but I had a keen ear for a melody and loved the way it would buzz in my chest.
 

Those early moments taught me the joy in taking something ordinary and making it extraordinary. The same impulse to create exists in me today.

I am a graduating senior at the Ohio State University pursuing a BA in English with a Creative Writing specialization. I am passionate about writing, reading, music, and anything else that encourages me to explore and express ideas in imaginative ways. From crafting fictional narratives to factual press releases, my versatile writing can be applied to multiple fields.
